Rock art is an eclectic style emerged in the mid-60s and peaked in the 70s. It’s still alive. The good things never die.

Related to progressive rock, folk-rock, experimental rock and all that may sound fancy (not necessarily boring) and artistic.

A little history:

In 1965, The Beatles began exploring new sounds through the multitrack recordings, experimentation music, avant-grade and drugs. The adventure begins.

In USA Frank Zappa and Mothers of Invention published Freak out! true satire of American popular culture.

Bob Dylan breaks with the traditional folk and hits with his electric guitar the right-thinking minds of a puritan and conformist America.

It makes a row.  Soon they began to appear new musical forms and new musicians. Hipster wind blew everywhere. In USA the music industry and much of society called them underground, degenerates and drug addicts

They tried to set them aside. They boycotted their music. But the effect was the opposite.

The Velvet Underground leading them by the hand of Andy Warhol proclaimed «I` m waiting for my man «and expected to reach the reward.
